Judy Garland - Sunny / Who
From Till The Clouds Roll By, 1946.
All of Judy's scenes in this movie were directed by Vincente Minnelli.
Interesting little bit of trivia: Judy was 4 months pregnant with Liza when this was shot. Notice how the dress is designed to hide her belly.

This is way different than Steve's version
The most exciting star ever.
I wish Terry was immortal! He would be amazing in TV Adverts, even now. Also, period Dramas.
Saw Vic Damone in Las Vegas. Truly a wonderful singer.
Judy was a much better mother to Liza than her own mother was to her
Great song by Judy.
Her dress is just too much for the camera
I learned that Paulette in Grease 2 was Judy Garland's Lorna... here I am in tears over this loving moment of mother and daughter.
18:10 for STAR QUALITY with no discernible gift for anything else. Maurice Chevalier . . . and that is NOT meant as an insult.
You 2 need to watch movie singing in the rain it's an old musical with dancing & any movie with gene Kelly , frank Sinatra Shirley temple, & check out Barbra Streisand in Hello Dolly also the Judy Garland show & Liza Minnelli was on it in her teens singing with mum
There's no competition here, only kind respect and friendship
I know you guys are praising her and that’s good because she deserves it but she wasn’t acting here. This was real. She was really crying.
Judy is in a class of her own. To sing with such vulnerability, seriousness, power, pathos, and control. The dedication and talent is maddening.
Judy was in top form for this CBS broadcast. Oddly, it was taped at NBC in Burbank, but no matter the venue, Judy shined.
Judy Garland you had a great sense of humor.
I love when Judy Garland sang The Trolley Song.
My favorite Judy Garland picture is The Wizard Of Oz.
Simply wonderful!
i love the typewriter text as set decoration! it’s so simple and classic!
GREAT INTERVIEW ! SATURDAY 6/22/24 JUNE 22, 2024
Absolutelly adorable ❤❤❤❤
I really wish they would tell us ,what year this was, an all the other videos,,,,,
This is off the Judy Garland show I believe 1963?
Very. Sad. Ending. For. A. Star ❤❤❤
1:18 ❤❤❤❤
the two of them were truly soul mates. Mickey only saw her as a sister, but if they were together, maybe Judy would lived as long as he did
To be fired from, Vally of The Dolls,,, the movie was about her an she gets fired,,,, w,t f
She was not plump ... she was short waisted with long legs (for a 4'11 person) ...
Judy's a little difficult to hear in this clip. Either her voice simply didn't project, the mic wasn't placed properly, or something, but I had to strain. Mr. Thomas was fully audible, a true delight to see & hear. He's seen to good advantage in this clip, quite handsome, dapper, & elegant. I think American audiences always responded favorably to him. In terms of cinema history, I think Mr. Thomas is rather hard to categorize. This no doubt stems from his uniqueness, his singular personality as an actor, there's nothing of the generic about him. Perhaps he's easier to categorize in terms of British cinema, his true home. He played a certain type of stylish con-man peculiar to that society of the top hat, cane, long cigarette holder in hand, champagne glass clinking, & evening shoulder-cape wearing rogue or scoundrel, a less-than-honorable ladies' man, always on the make, out for the fast-buck, a smooth seducer of other mens' wives, an unfaithful philanderer in his own, etc. I'm speaking, of course, of the typical cinematic character in which he most often appeared. I suppose one could say he was a poor man's Cary Grant, though on a far lower moral plane. A skilled movie comedian, Thomas' silky accent, distinctive pronunciation, & uniquely memorable countenance, all contributed to an appealing persona. He just really can't be categorized!
WHAT A TREAT!
What an amazing performance from a wonderful talented lady. May her soul rest in peace 🪽🎵🎶❤️🙏
Garland was too good. I don’t believe an actress today could match the emotions…. and the singing. I just saw another UA-cam of this deleted scene and it has the orchestration. This scene here is perhaps the rehearsal and it’s only with the piano. The deleted scene with orchestration is good and just as heartbreaking. However it continues to the scene where Aunt ‘Em shows up in the crystal ball and Judy is talking to her and that kind of brings back a strength to the Dorothy character that I think would’ve offset the heartbreak of this deleted scene. So I go back-and-forth on whether it should’ve been kept in.
The only two people who had that 'thing" in their voice that just made a song bigger and bigger the further they got into a song, even when they were singing soft. I've always only recognized that trait in these two here. What a joy to get to this stage in life and UA-cam makes it possible for me to see them TOGETHER, which I never would have seen any other way as this aired 14 years before I was born.
BRILLIANCE!!!!
Incredible singing in all and every sense 🎉
Does she seem more at peace here or is it just me?
West Side Story is the first movie I ever just started sobbing to.
Aww I was hoping for Stranger in Paradise...
00:22 Every time Judy sang this medley, she made this gesture after "why it's." Mort Lindsey said Judy never sang a song the same way twice, and many fans parroted this quote, but Judy- a total pro who knew what her audience expected- not only sang her songs identically, but made the same expressions and hand gestures and little dance steps. Aside from dedication to her craft, she had a superhuman memory.
I looked for this song and was quite surprised (and pleased) at how many relatively recent productions of Finian’s Rainbow there have been.
❤
One of the greatest entertainer in the history, that is Judy.
Great song and the best person singing it. You go Judy!!! K
I Love Judy Garland! Grand Video! Judy Garland sings the song, By Myself in a light upbeat tone. Judy Garland first sang this song for the 1963 movie I Could Go on Singing in a very downbeat, lonely, sad tone. Judy Garland needs to have weighed ten more pounds on her 4 feet 11 1/2 inches tall, tiny frame in this video! Her hair should have not been cut so short. Her dress is beautiful and sheik!
Grand Video!
Wonderful Video!
Delightful Interview! I Love all of Judy Garland's movies! I have many favorite movies. My favorite movie of all time since I first saw it at age 2 and 1/2 in 1981 is the Beautiful, Beloved, Brilliant, Classic, Clever, Delightful, Excellent, Fantastic, Grand, Iconic, Marvelous, Outstanding, Perfectly Cast, Radiant, Spectacular, Splendid, Terrific, Uplifting, and Wonderful 1939 MGM Fantasy Musical Movie, The Wizard of Oz!
I was born in the late fall of 1978. I Love the Adorable, Extremely Talented, Legendary, Sincere, Very Intelligent, Very Pretty, Very Witty Judy Garland! Judy Garland is comfortable and relaxed in this clip! This is one of the best interviews and performances that Judy Garland gave in later years! Judy Garland is Over the Rainbow Immortal in Heaven and Immortal in all of her movies, radio broadcasts, recordings concerts, television show. television specials and guest appearances!
17:06 Who is that? Hot
I doubt Judy gave a fuck about these celebrities lmao. Why did he bring her on to reminisce about HIS home videos? She’s not even in any!
